World Suicide Prevention Day

An estimated 703,000 people a year take their life around the world. For every suicide, there are likely 20 other people making a suicide attempt and many more have serious thoughts of suicide. Millions of people suffer intense grief or are otherwise profoundly impacted by suicidal behaviours.

Since Tony's death in 2015 I have been in that dark place many times and people often say you just have to call if you need to talk. At these times talking is one of the things I really do not want to do. It is my animals that keep me going, but as each of them passes (R2 and Cuddy in the last couple of years) too it is often more and more difficult to go on. For now I'm in a fairly good place, although this is a particularly difficult time if year for me too.
