World Kidney Day
A day that means something to me. My mum was born with congenital kidney disease and was never fully well. For around 10 years she was on dialysis (part of that time with a machine at home) before getting a Transplant that let her live around the same amount of time again.

Do you know what kidney health looks like? It's often referred to as a silent disease as in many cases symptoms do not show up in early stages.
Risk factors like diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease, or a family history of kidney disease can be linked to kidney disease. So naturally it's something I try to take care of, and yes, sorry about when I get localised backache.
Like many infirmities common sense prevails in keeping your kidneys healthy
Healthy eating
Low salt and sugar intake
No smoking
Controlled alcohol use
Sensible exercise
Getting enough sleep
Reduce stress
Drink plenty of water.
