Water
Water Water everywhere and not a drop to drink, as the famous line from Colleridge's Ancient Mariner goes.
Well here in Vilanova the council are trying to change that.
In a bid to get people to drink tap water, and thereby cut down on the use of plastics they have installed two water fountains, at which you are invited to fill your own bottles (plastic presumably 🤷♂️).
One is located outside the church, in Placa Neus, at the top of the Rambla; and the other is on Passeig Martim, outside the Tourist information office.
Whilst I applaud the idea I'm not sure 2 fountains between the 66 thousand or so inhabitants will make much difference, and IMO they need to do something about the 'helpful and healthy' chemicals added to the water. I have tried drinking it, but have not enjoyed the taste.
Over to you, what do you think?
