Uplifting

Just before the country went on lockdown our apartment block was due to get a new lift.

Twice a year we have a resident meetings to discuss things pertinent to the building such as replacement railings, which were done about a year ago, access to the roof- it's for everyone at anytime as long as no one is disturbed, and at the last few meetings the main subject has been the replacement of the lift. Finally after getting quotes and agreeing the specifications the work was due to begin this spring. Like most things that is on hold now until this lockdown is over. In other words - watch this space.
