Train
A day out in Barcelona is always a welcome break, even if you're here on holiday. At the moment it's ideal for us residents being quieter than usual, although not quite so good for those with businesses there.
And one of the easiest ways to get there is by train, especially as the train station is just 10 minutes walk from TdM.
Buying a ticket is easy at the machines as you can change the language to one you understand, and it's a touch screen with options to choose. Pay by cash or credit card and having passed their the barriers (this validates your ticket in case of inspection) and you're on the train. Trains are about every 20 minutes, and on a fast is you'll be in BCN within 35 - 40 minutes, even the stopping trains aren't much longer.
And the price of a ticket is currently €4.60 each way.
