Torre Blava

Did you spot the doors to this very well-known tower?

The tower was built at the end of the 19th century as party of Vilanova's sea defence against attack, and it is said that Vilanova without the Torre Blava is not Vilanova.

In 2000 the tower was taken over by local artist, Josep Guinovart , and is now a space displaying art which pays homage to the sea and those that derive their living from it.
