Temps de vi

...is the annual wine festival in Vilanova which normally takes place on the Rambla over a weekend. This year it was held in the gardens of the Lighthouse and takes had to be booked in advance.

I thought I would have to miss it again this year when ask the tables sold out well in advance, until my lovely friends Meritxell and Albert, said they had booked a table and had a spare place.

The gardens/event was open from 12 to 3, so after a spell on the beach we went along, enjoying several glasses of local vino, brute returning to the beach later.

As usual at these invents I communicate with stallholders etc in Catalan, and they often reply in English, so strong is my accent that no one cannot know my country of birth.
