Scooters

Over the last couple of years powered scooters have become more and more popular and speaking as a driver and pedestrian I have quite often found them a nuisance, and at times a danger. Only yesterday one cut round in front of me on the roundabout and when I blasted my horn at her she gave me the middle finger.

The police here, however are on the case, and as reported in the local paper recently are now fining every six out of ten users. The most common fines are for riding with more than one person, driving on the pavements and for talking on their phones. These things I see every day.
