Yes, today is Saint Peter's day, and in Vilanova is dedicated to fisherman and the sea.

Today at 11.30 a wreath will be launched into the sea honoring all those that have died at sea. This will be followed by the laying of a similar wreath at the monument of the fisherman.

The Lighthouse will also have free entry all day. The exhibition inside is well worth a visit. (Photo from council Instagram account)
