Read a Book Day

Today is officially designated as "Read a book day".

And that's something I've been doing a lot of lately. During the summer evenings, instead of sitting indoors watching television I have been sitting in the garden reading, enjoying the peace out there, and so far this year have read 32 books, which is pretty much a record for me.

I don't really have a favourite genre, and read pretty much anything recommended or by some of my favourite authors. So if anyone has any recommendations just let me know, and especially if you're on Goodreads.

This year I've read a lot of Camilla Lackberg, Nick Alexander, Claire Chambers, David Baldacci, Dean Koontz, and Lee Child. I'm currently reading another David Baldacci, and have a selection of other books on my bedside table, and already downloaded to my kindle.

At TdM there is a bookcase of books in the halfway just in case you've left home without one., many of which you can take away with you if you haven't finished by the time you go home.
