Palau de la Musica

Last week I finally got round to visiting the Palau de la Musica in Barcelona, and what a treat it was.

Towards the back is a cafe (but part of the building) where prices are reasonable and the coffee was good, but the big show is the building itself.

The building is an incredible piece of art in its own right, with so many facets it's hard to see them all in one visit.

And while there we were lucky enough to see part of the orchestra rehearsing. Now I really want to go back for a concert, and hopefully will do so in the autumn.

Needless to say I recommend a visit here wholeheartedly, and at €10 per person it's a bargain.
