So, did you know what the structure in Sunday's photo challenge is?

Its the holocaust memorial in the Plaça Peixaterie.

It was inaugurated on December 16, 2001. The piece was created by Andreu Alfaro, a local Valencia born sculptor, and consists of a concrete base and stainless steel sculpture.

Each year on Holocaust remembrance day there is a simple and moving ceremony held here, for all victims of the nazis, but especially those from Vilanova.
