La Jaula...

... de las locas - AKA La Cage aux Folles.

This is the site I went to at in Barcelona yesterday. It was a long day all in all, what with a problematic departure from TdM first thing, then lunch in Barcelona followed by a matinee performance at the Tivoli Theatre.

I know the story before going having seen the film of the same title many years ago (it was actually renewed in 1977) which was useful because at times the dialogue was a little to rapid/quickfire for me to keep up.

I was worried the songs might lose something in translation, but I needn't have worried.

It was an amazing, and 3 hour performance,and well worth it.
