Jardins Artigas

... billed as one of Gaudi's least known works, the gardens show off his love for nature and natural shapes. Once having seen a couple of photos on Instagram I knew I had to go.

They are about 1 hour 45 away from Vilanova in Poble de Lillet, by car. Its an easy journey, almost all on the autopistas except for the last few yards, where you drive along train tracks. Luckily no train vans while we were going up to the gardens, and the woman in the box office advised us that a train had just passed so it was age to drive again.

If you have access to a car whilst in VnG it is well worthwhile to make the trip.
