International Day of Sign Language

Many people don't realise that each language had it's own sign language as well. I once tried to learn some British sign language, but remember very little now, a few rude gestures, but that's about all.

The Spanish sign language is obviously very different to the British one, although Catalan different again, although as with spoken languages there are occasional similarities. is estimated that there are over 100,000 speakers, 20-30% of whom use it as a second language.

Anyone visiting here speak it?
