International Day of Friendship

There are so many International days of... that many get lost in the mix, the international day of friendship is often one of those lost days, but why? Friendships are so important.

Often our lives are busy, complicated or so scattered that we don't make time to contact friends, even though our friendships enrich our lives, often more than our families - don't forget 'you can choose your friends but not your family.

With the current situation it has been even more difficult to stay in contact, but today I'll be making an effort to message as many of my amazing friends as possible.

I have to say that I am one of the lucky ones, blessed with wonderful friends both here, and around the world.
