Holiday

Today is a public holiday in Catalunya, and normally it's needed after a night of excess, that usually carries on well into the early hours. So today many places will be closed and the town will be more peaceful one more after the noisy fireworks of yester, although TBH, there will still be a few around today.

The reason for the holiday is because today is Saint John's Day - or official the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist as depicted in this painting/icon.

Happy holidays everyone.
