Hidden Gem

A little while back while exploring Barcelona I chanced upon another hidden gem; The Bar l'Antic Theatre.

Hidden in a side street, Carrer de Verdaguer i Callís, number 12, to be precise. This is another cafe not known to many tourists or visitors. Open from 10am weekdays until 11.30pm, it closes later on Fridays, and only opens after 5pm at the weekend.

It's a great place to take the weight off and grab a bite to eat and/or something to drink. And I'm happy to report their coffee was served piping hot, just the way I like it.

It has a quirky garden area, which, considering it is in the heart of Barcelona is extremely peaceful during the day, but much more lively at night of course.
