First Visit

So many anniversaries in May, today is another.

In 1984 we started our first holiday in Sitges. We stayed for two weeks of Sun, Sand, Sangria, Oh and lots of other S's. 😉😊

Our first visit was booked through the travel agent Mundilcolor, who I don't think operate in Europe any longer. Everything was booked via them including taxi transfer from the airport and the hotel.

The taxi ride was truly scary as the only route to Sitges in those days was asking the coast, which was much narrower in those days, and the taxi driver had no fear.

The hotel we stayed at was the Bertran Hotel on Dos de Mayo, which is now the Montroig Cafe, still owned by the Bertran family with whom I have spoken many times about our previous stays there.
