Espigalls

Today is the 5th Festa d'Espigalls.

The Festa de l'Espigall is the festival for the promotion and dissemination of the espigalls to Vilanova i la Geltrú.

From 11.30 a.m. in Pl. Soler i Carbonell and in front of the Municipal market

There will be children's activities, d'espigalls tasting dishes, wine and craft beer tastes. Hopefully they'll be a bit better prepared than last year as they ran out of food really early, and TBH the choice was very limited and unimaginative. I can make more dishes with more imagination with it. It is one of my favourites.

I often maje a curry with it, cook it in "cheese ssuce", roast it with garlic, add it to a stir-fry, make ut the base for a tortilla, put it in a wrap with spicy sauce... and so on.
