Sad news for cycling fans here in Vilanova. Vilanova born cyclist Marc Soler has had to drop out of the Tour de France because of his injuries.

Marc was injured when the fan with a placard standing in the way of the cyclists caused a pile-up earlier this week. He suffered two fractured arms and has subsequently had to retire from the race to recover.
