Clear skies

We are very lucky in Vilanova to get very clear skies and at night there is a general lack of light pollution which means star spotting is so much easier.

When I was a kid we used to sit outside late at night with an encyclopedia checking the night sky against the pictures. This means that I am still able to identify some of the constellations visible with the naked eye. One of my favourites being Orion.

This month there is plenty to see in the night sky, just pop outside and take a look.
