Cheese Toastie Day

Another of those strange celebratory days again, started, of course in California.

Here cheese and ham toasties are popular here at any time of day; breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just as a snack.

With the increase in availability of the different types of 'ham style' slices it means I can take part in these too, although when I order in a cafe I order a ham and cheese toastie but without the ham, yes that gets me a few strange looks I can tell you.

And do you know what these tasty snacks are called in Spanish? They are Bikinis.
