Cal Tullet

When we first moved here I filled a lot of my time doing family history research. A few years back a friend sent me a photo of a cafe/bakery in a town a little further south (Montblanc) with a variation of my surname.

About 3 years ago I went to find this place and met the owner who wasn't sure but thought the cafe's name came from his grandmother's maiden name.

Whilst there I tried the pastry that is only made in this place, and it's delicious.

It's highly likely that we are therefore related as all the Tulletts of whatever spelling variation can be traced back to France. During the 17th century they fled due to the persecution of their religious beliefs - huguenotes.
