Boxing?

The VnG Police and the Mossos have intervened in the plans for an illegal boxing match on the beach here that was being organised on social networks

An Instagram user alerted the police who contacted the Instagrammer who had made the original post. They are a local athlete with many followers on the platform.

The organisor has been informed that to contuve with the event would be illegal and result in prosecution, but thevpolice asvised them that of the proper channels through which they need to process a request to set up the event leagally.

The police have not processed any official complaint since everything has remained jyst as a warning.

As someone against any kind of violence in sports I hope this will be the end of the matter,

But at least it gives me the excuse to post this picture..
