Bosc de la memoria

During the last few months the ajuntament have been creating a remembrsnce wood next to the cemetery, and a stone's throw from where I live.

It's to commemorate those that were exiled and incarcerated in concentration camps during the civil war/2nd world war.

Hopefully it will develop well, but some of the trees that were planted a couple of months back are looking a little worse for wear - most likely from the lack of water.

For me it was also a little sad that the trees that were growing/thriving there were dug up to replace them with others. 🤷‍♂️
