Birdsong

Tonight is our monthly bookclub meeting (a bit delayed due to diary management within the group 🤣) and this last month we have been reading one of my favourite books of the year - Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks. 70cm

Set during the first World War it follows the fate of a great selection of characters. It enlightened me to some of the horrors of the time, and even made me cry - a sign of a great book.
