All Fools

While in the UK April the first is all fools day, here in Spain, it is today.

And one of the biggest jokes this year comes from over of my favourite cities - Santiago.

This morning one of the Spanish fleet's submarines took a wrong turn and navigated up the river Arousa near Santiago, eventually surfacing right in the middle of town in the square outside the cathedral, a square well known to all us camino walkers/pilgrims. Police and local services were on hand and there were no injuries.

When I first saw the photo I thought "how the hell did that happen?" Then realised which day it was. 🤣🤣🤣

I'm sure there have been some more local pranks too, but haven't checked the local news yet.
