This Sunday at the Mercat del Mar is the festival of Xato, a typical Catalan dish with a sauce made with almonds, hazelnuts, breadcrumbs, vinegar, garlic, olive oil, salt, and the nyora pepper. The sauce is often served with an endive salad prepared with anchovy, tuna and dried salt cod.
Not to my taste but very bpppular here.
Thec festivities are on from 11am till 3pm and include live music and other local produce for sale.
