Taxi?

Getting a taxi in Vilanova has always been a bit hit and miss, but hourly now the service will be improved as the Garraf region will be working as one area for taxis (with the exclusion of Sitges, 🙄🙄)

The Garraf County Council approved the agreement for the creation of a joint service area for the taxi service in the Garraf region last Thursday, initially formed by Canyelles, Cubelles, Olivella, Sant Pere of Ribes and Vilanova i la Geltrú. This agreement comes from an original request from taxi drivers of these towns to unify the tariffs, applying the prices that are in force in Vilanova i la Geltrú and will establish an inter-municipal coordination for all taxis so that the taxis of all these towns can work in any of them.

The rates for long-distance services will still be determined by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
