This time of year is normally very quiet,  and any bookings made well in advance. Last night,  however,  a booking came in for this weekend,  starting today.  

Normally the apartment is always ready for anyone to arrive.  This time I was caught out. After the Halloween afternoon tea I decided to leave the tables in situ for the Christmas one.  Mistake.  So this morning, with the very welcome hemp of Alberto,  we put the living room and kitchen back to how they should have been.
