Every Friday there is a small market on Rambla la Pau, right outside the apartment. Until recently the market used to be in the road directly behind the apartment and in the square and calle libertat, which runs north from the square. Now, since the traffic calming measures in this area, the market has been moved onto the Rambla itself. Some days there are many many stalls, other Fridays not so many. I still haven't worked out of they're seasonal changes or just at the whims of the stallholders.

Cheeses, local and from slightly further afar. 

There is always a wide selection of fruit available, at incredible prices. This week two kilos of black cherries for five euros, and who doesn't like a sweet black cherry?
