Which hopefully means Happy Birthday in Ukrainian, because tody we want to send best birthday wishes to another dear friend, Tetyana. (Apologies Tetyana, if the title is wrong)
Tetyana and I met a few years back studying Catalan, and in the last course paired up to do some extra revision together before the exam, being the only two non Hispanic students on the course.
We haven't seen each other for a while now, partly because of covid19 and partly because Tetyana became a mother back in January before the lockdown.
Tetyana has been another face at our afternoon teas, but I've been unable to find a photo of her there so hopefully she'll forgive me for stealing this one from her Facebook page.
